This site is primarily the work of one person on a very part-time basis. There is no way one very part-time person can cover this field! Your contributions are not only welcomed, they are invited and encouraged.
Our goal is to be a one-stop location for people and projects at the intersection of Christian faith and a better food system. We want to provide opportunities for healthy cross-pollination between regions, denominations and sectors.
To that end, we welcome press releases and conference announcements relevant to this work. We also welcome original news stories, opinion pieces, and personal reflections relevant to this field. We will cross-post excerpts of relevant writing published elsewhere with a link to the original content.
We particularly seek stories that demonstrate the breadth and diversity of Christians engaged in food system work.
To submit a piece for publication, please email nurya at plainsongfarm.com and put “proposed CFM contribution” in the subject line.
We particularly want press releases and news stories in order to encourage mutual learning between projects occurring in different parts of the country. If you can write, you can write a news story. Here are some tips.
News stories and press releases may be any length. Opinion pieces are suggested at 1000 words maximum. If you are sending a piece to be excerpted with a link to the original, please send your suggested excerpt as well as the link.
Please ensure you have the rights to any material you submit and include a relevant image for each story.
The final decision about publication rests with the editor, Nurya Love Parish.
