The Christian food movement site started as a PDF guide with links to various organizations first published in 2015. Due to donor support and widespread interest, this site was built in December 2016.
You can download the latest PDF version of the guide by filling out the form below. We look forward to producing a new version in the winter of 2017-8. The current directory includes organizations that are not in the latest PDF version.

More than 200 links and resources at the intersection of Christian faith and sustainable agriculture.
Because the guide is now a website, it can expand past the capacity of one person! Your work at the intersection of Christian faith, sustainable agriculture, and good food systems advocacy (including hunger relief/charitable food) is welcome. We’re excited that as of January 2017, we can finally start adding the many church gardens – work which was impossible when we were trying to track every project using a PDF.

All listings are reviewed by the site editor prior to approval to deter spam and other foolishness. Listings are included based on their websites. If your project’s website includes evidence of both Christian faith and food systems work, it will be included. Interfaith projects containing a Christian partner are already included; more are welcome.
The Rev. Nurya Love Parish serves as site developer and editor. Please contact her if you have questions or concerns about the site. We take an iterative approach to development and look forward to continuing to release new features in 2017. Please use the contact form to propose a feature or make a suggestion.
The directory is provided for networking and mutual learning. It is our hope that interfaith partners may find it useful, and that the interfaith work already begun in a few regions may inspire more elsewhere. We consider the Jewish organization Hazon to be at the forefront of food and faith work generally; the existence of this site springs from a comment made by Hazon’s founder, Nigel Savage.
Statement of Faith
We have faith in the unity of the church despite our present divisions. We have faith that because everybody eats, the intersection of food and faith can inspire conversation and collaboration that may not happen any other way.
We have faith that all things were created through Christ and are being renewed in Him. We have faith that Christ will lead us forward, though we may not know the way.
Trusting in the teachings of Jesus, we know that we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. We believe this is true not only for our Christian neighbors but for our neighbors of every faith and none.
And, because we are aware that the personal faith of the people behind the project matters, with the whole church we affirm:
